PUZZLE SOLUTIONS
Master the unique puzzles of Sublustrum with detailed solutions.
🎵 AUDIO PUZZLES
Frequency Tuning
Adjust the dial to match the frequency heard from hidden speakers. The solution is always a number that appears in the environment.
Solution Method:
- 1. Listen carefully to the target frequency
- 2. Look for numbers in the room (clocks, codes, books)
- 3. The frequency is always a combination of these
Tip: Some frequencies are below human hearing. Watch the dial vibration instead.
Voice Following
Whispers guide you through dark corridors. Follow the voice without looking at the source.
Solution Method:
- 1. Close your eyes when possible
- 2. The voice comes from the correct path
- 3. Ignore visual distractions—they're lies
Warning: The voice sometimes lies in later chapters.
Harmonic Resonance
Match three tones in sequence. The melody is always a song from the brother's past.
Solution Method:
- 1. Find the music box in the level
- 2. Play it to hear the full melody
- 3. Replicate the sequence on the pipes
The brother's favorite song was his mother's lullaby.
Echo Location
Clap or make sound to reveal hidden paths through echo. Different surfaces return different tones.
Solution Method:
- 1. Make noise at each wall intersection
- 2. Hollow walls return the sound faster
- 3. The true path resonates differently
Your footsteps also create echoes—walk slowly and listen.
🧠 MEMORY PUZZLES
Photograph Reconstruction
Torn photographs must be reassembled in the correct order to unlock memories.
- • Look at the faces in each fragment
- • Age progression determines sequence
- • The emotional expression order matters
Symbol Matching
Match symbols from the real world to their representations in the Flickering World.
- • The brother's journal contains symbol keys
- • Objects transform symbolically, not literally
- • A clock always means "time" or "memory"
⚙️ MECHANICAL PUZZLES
Gear Sequences
Clockwork mechanisms require specific gear arrangements. Wrong combinations can trap you.
- • Count teeth on visible gears
- • The ratio determines rotation speed
- • Large gears turn slowly but with more force
Pressure Plates
Some doors require specific weight combinations. Items can be combined or separated.
- • Every item has a weight value
- • Some objects can be broken into pieces
- • Light doesn't register—only physical mass
GENERAL TIPS
Observe First
Before touching anything, observe the full room. Everything is connected.
Listen Carefully
Audio is crucial. Use headphones and listen for subtle cues.
Take Notes
Keep track of symbols, numbers, and sequences. The game doesn't hold your hand.
